I dont know about the analysts.... Im unsure of the relationship of an analyst recommendation with their firms' clients. Im in a private fund where the guy holds amzn - but again he hedges. I actually want him to switch to doubleclick. I would think most mutual funds wouldnt want to go long amzn (other than the internet only funds) bwdik?

This is anal-ist speak for acknowledging that Amazon did not ship many orders in time for Christmas. Anything Amzn does, no matter what it is, is cause for celebration in the anal-ist community. But I guess that's what they're paid for--to hype stocks in exchange for investment banking fees and stock-sales commission fees.
