My best guess, and off the wall it is, is that you are getting
noise fed back along the parallel port lines which upsests
the mobo in a delicate state.

As a wild guess from afar, try upping the voltage on the
OC'd processor. Apparently stability improves (though
potential harm chances also increase) at higher voltages,
up to a point anyhow. OCing is always a trade off.

Strictly not guaranteed guesses. I have not received my
pcs which will be OCd yet.
