Hi diamond dealer, Right and the timing of all this DD about GLOW which really is old news.. make that old old news. is a bit suspect... yet I do think this fellow is sincere. Still he has gone to a lot of trouble to get dirt about GLOW like calling a paving contractor? But if you are in the Internet Gaming business you have to understand it can work both ways! That's why love it so for it gives everyone the power to be heard. John

Diamond, As a longtime GLOW shareholder (who, BTW, just recently liquidated his holdings), I might be able to shed some light on this. Island Gaming right now is really nothing more than a bookmaking operation (the casino games have not been finalized yet). I believe the risk to the house for bookmaking (especially with a relatively small handle) is much higher than other casino games. I have vivid memories of showing up at my bookie's place to collect on my weekend's winnings and him looking like death warmed over. I could tell immediately he had lost his shorts. In such instances, it wasn't unusual for me to be told to come back "in a few days" to collect. Over the long haul, the book will come out alright (assuming it is managed properly) but there will be up and down months. For example, Island Gaming lost money in November (after two months of generating profits). Delayed reporting of December results leads one to believe they weren't overly profitable as well. I posted a while ago that I believed the monthly reporting of results works great when the results are positive but isn't so great when the casino loses money. We have to accept (1) the POSSIBILITY that since December results have not yet been released, they might not be as good as previously projected; (2) the POSSIBILITY that since the only TWO PEOPLE here and on Raging Bull who have claimed to have bet through Island Gaming (and won) in the last couple months have had to fight to get their winnings (and one of them claims to be unsuccessful thus far), there might be cash flow problems; and (3) the POSSIBILITY that since several very supposedly pro-GLOW folks have recently turned against the company after claiming to have performed more extensive DD than most others have apparently done, there might be some truth to their most recent revelations. Of course, these possibilities could be so far removed from what is true so as to not even be worth mentioning. I hope that is the case. GO BIG RED!!!
