Oak Park Trader~

i think the real opportunity may be in the spin off of pcquote.com from pcquote. i know it's been hinted about in the prior news releases.

''It has been obvious for a long time that the two businesses are very different,'' Porter continued. ''We have experienced some incredible advantages due to the fact that PC Quote is both a market data vendor and a financial website. However, it appears inevitable that the two units will follow very different business models and will be presented with distinct opportunities

biz.yahoo.com

also, if it does happen, i wonder what current stock holders will receive? ratio of stock, warrants?

would the spin off be an amex or nasdaq? nasdaq is the place to be in an ipo, vloume and internet sectors

if it does come to pass, at the current price it's a steal

Also the short interest has risen from 273k shares to 379k shares as of Jan 15. Wonder if the quick run up was shorts covering their position on the dip down. One good announcement could really send them running to cover. The stock has seemed to have developed a good strong base at $3 with accumulation still under way. Technically, this looks like a sound good long term stock. IMO.

The philosophy of Investor's Business Daily is you find strong stocks in strong sectors and buy them on the dips. PQT fits into that criteria right now--and the great thing is that it is still relatively under-valued

I agree this stocks value is overlooked. PQT has an exceptional product in a rapidly growing market. Nice real estate IMO.
