Agreed. This I do know: cable is way-ahead of the telcos. But also, I think the speed of cable roll-out is misunderstood. ATHM trippled it's subscribers in '98. I hear estimates of another tripple in '99 and then a 5x growth in '00. That seems fast to me! There is the upgrade which is required, but ADSL requires expensive head-end upgrades as well. This is more than likely the biggest limiter to ATHM rolling out faster than 3x/year... -Moose
