OT:
Smile....well...I certainly do not claim to have any following either...and it is not my intention to recommend any particular stocks....

if I were to buy something Monday...I would consider more NETA (currently hold 200 shares) or CMGI (currently hold 600 shares) ..both of those are light weights in my portfolio...and I like the idea of having a strong presence....in "security" stocks (NETA) and a little more play in startup Internet plays (CMGI)...

YOU might like CMGI...and it is at a dip now...so check it out!!

but that is based on what I have....and we clearly have different philosophies.. You like mutual funds and Penny stocks...so you are on Mars.....and I am on Venus....(laugh) as far as "styles of investing" goes....so no wonder...we tend to "disagree" on our selections!!

Well..let me tell you my thoughts on mutual funds....if you think..I am "sour" on the idea of penny stocks...laugh...I would invest in a penny stock...before I popped money into mutual funds!

Why?

Well....for one....96% of mutual funds make less than the S&P....which is why so many folks are shifting their "mutual funds" to "index fund" mutuals....

Mutual funds...even "no loads" are loaded with fees....ugh! and you lose control of what they are buying and selling... that is NOT for me. if anyone is going to lose money...it will be "ME" not some fund manager that I have handed my funds to manage.

The only thing worse than mutual funds....is a portfolio of mutual funds..... kinda "overkills" the concept of risk management.

But...hey...a lot of people...LOVE mutual funds.....

Different strokes...(or stocks) for different folks...

stay sweet....Mary

What's going on over here?

Someone bashing my stock?

Oh well, since I know almost nothing about it I guess I won't read further.
