OK Bruce, now I see why you don't post on your own thread...nobody else does either! IQCharts has been so successful that most of their former paying customers (non-moocher types) have quit and there is nobody to post on their thread any longer. The most recent post was last November. Let's see a few highlights from the thread...shall we? >>>Subject 20813 To: JJV (0 ) From: c. carlson Thursday, Nov 19 1998 11:30AM ET Reply # of 28 IQC (live quotes)doesn't seem to perform well in a live environment, I cancelled. Let me add my complaint to many of those listed below. It is typical to find a 5 min. intraday chart that has not auto-updated in 2 hours. IQC works great when the markets are closed, but not when I need it. Too bad, cause the charts can be really nice. Whatever their problem seems to be, is over their heads....none of their suggestions solved any of my problems. In their information they say "don't use it for trading", I guess I now know why. It was the cheapest live quotes service out there I could find.....guess you get what you pay for. >> To: FoxGlove (21 ) From: Bald Man from Mars Monday, Nov 2 1998 12:56PM ET Reply # of 28 That IQC is a joke, I told them that one of the data is no good, they did not correct it in 1 month, their data is just plain unreliable, you can not trade without clean data ... I drop them after 1 month ... lost money on their stupid data ... >> To: Bald Man from Mars (22 ) From: FoxGlove Monday, Nov 2 1998 1:35PM ET Reply # of 28 AHHH IEEEEEEEEE!!!!! They finally got back online only to show me the incredible ramp up on the stocks I supposed to be on top off. Still NO TECH SUPPORT explanation. I had a ton of cash waiting for this and it blew right by me. I might stay with the service just to report back here about every screw up so that everyone on the net will know not to count on this service. >> To: Bald Man from Mars (20 ) From: FoxGlove Monday, Nov 2 1998 12:07PM ET Reply # of 28 I signed up for IQC, paid good money for real time quotes and their data feed keeps shutting down without any indication until you happen to notice the real time quote from another source is off from IQC. AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I've lost $XXXX already today. My last three emails to tech support have gone unanswered. >> To: Bald Man from Mars (14 ) From: Howard Bennett Wednesday, Sep 9 1998 11:29AM ET Reply # of 28 I agree. They are complete amateurs. All I get are apologies. Please be patient they say. I've been a subscriber for many months and it's the same old story. "We are having growing pains." Blah Blah Blah. I'm loosing my patience...this a.m. their server is not even up. BTW...what are you using for charts instead if IQC? howard >> To: Bald Man from Mars (12 ) From: Howard Bennett Tuesday, Sep 8 1998 10:28AM ET Reply # of 28 You gotta love it. Huge rally today on Wall Street and (what are the odds of this) IQ Suite's intraday databases are all messed up. These guys need to sort out these problems -- which by-the-way have been happening for quite some time and continue to plague us. Anyone else pissed about this? >>
