Jim,
Thanks for the compliment about the T-shirts. First of all I have no interest in telling you what to say, and I did not specifically single you or anyone else out. I was asking (not telling) for a more respectful tone on the thread, which is my or anyone's prerogative to do. If you don't want to pay any attention to my suggestions, of course you have that prerogative. With regards to my (I presume, inadequate) "due diligence", I'm surprised to learn that you know so much about my investment research! If by "waking up....[and doing] due diligence" you're referring to the fact that I'm long, then I guess you'll have to add yourself to that group of inadequate investors - I'm sure you have (or have had) a lot more stock than I. If you're referring to the fact that I'm not as nervous about the prospects of Global, as some on this thread have been recently, then it's really a matter of opinion (however ill-informed in either case), isn't it? I'm not sure what it was that you are alleging. My best guess is that Jensen did not spend twenty years in this just to achieve the satisfaction of handing BS to a bunch of anonymous stockholders. As I've said before, I think his release of important operational responsibilities to MM suggests to me a real man who knows when to step aside from some executive duties in the best interests of all shareholders, himself included. IMHO, that must have taken some brass gonads and a large dose of common sense. I do believe that the stock price has hurt Global and him personally in ways hard to imagine; and I also believe he has little control over this. If you think otherwise, then let's just say we agree to disagree on that point.

Not that I need to explain myself, either, but as as long as you've raised the question of my "due diligence", I'll answer it. I've read every post since this thread began and have followed several other related threads daily since August '96, I've spoken with company officers many times, visited Hassayampa and talked with Wayne P., stopped in New Hampshire to talk with Ze'ev on several topics having to do with it, including his opinion of refractory ore chemistry, discussed it with at least a dozen other stockholders on the phone more times than I could possibly count, read anything I could find on the web about the subject, including holding up to comparable DDs and others, researched and taken out mineral claims in AZ, sent samples to assayers...there's more, but I'll stop there. I don't need to impress anyone else on this thread; there's only one guy in the mirror when I'm shaving in the morning who I must answer to. Your decisions to stay in or liquidate are your business, as mine are my business. I'm not sure why you feel you need to comment on the quality of my investment knowledge, but I'm sure you have your reasons. I'll just say that I would be interested in the fruits of your investment remarks anyday, as long as you can substantiate what you have with evidence. At this time I have no plans to skip over your letters. You have been an interesting and colorful figure on this thread since the beginning and I have enjoyed your crusty pool hall humor and verve. I'll close with one thing - if Global suddenly rockets to five bucks, I bet you an Anchor Steam that everyone will be a lot chummier with each other (and Gippy management) than they are now!
Regards, Scott
p.s. Do you have an address for EF?

Jim,
You raised an issue that Jensen and Twifford gave themselves 6,000,000 shares of G.P.G.I. stock. If you have any proof of this I have a friend that would like to check into the matter. Please give me all the information you have on this matter!

Sincerly
