Miljenko, I tend to do shallow DD. Hence, I'm unable to distinguish, in their early stages, those biotechs that will support long term investment (IDPH, SEPR) from those that will not (ATIS, CNSI, IPIC). Then there are those in the intermediate category (NXTR, ARQL) that have fallen on hard times and are (temporarily?) out of favor. Knowing how hard it is to pick long term winners early on I've become, of necessity, much more of trader of biotechs over an intermediate holding period.
