Hrm; Well it's confusing as all get out, and for the time being
I can't figure out who will be the walmart of the internet,
looks like you have to spread your bets. The term "tracking"
stock sets off my alarms, it may be just a false alarm but
I don't know how to determine taht.
What internuts I have bought have been via what a mutual fund
holds, next month we get the XLX, ( SPDR with 15 nut stocks in it)
and I'll likely want to trade that over any particular company.
---------------
The walmart of the internet will show up some day, it will offer
cable, regular ISP , ASDL, & wireless all at a one stop shopping
center. If I see that I'll be on it in a jiffy.
I don't think demographics are going to allow some propitiatory
type system to take over, and maintain a lead for any long
period, the technology is advancing so fast, that what's hot
today or looks good on paper can be obsolete by the time you
get it into mass production.
