Stephen, do you have any SUNW? I bought some Friday for long term holding purposes. =) First time I have owned the stock I do admit... I finally have about 20% of my portfolio in "long term stocks", the other 80% is for trading. Amazing strength it showed me Friday in the face of 2 downgrades. Finally got in at $97 or so I believe.

As I make money (hopefully) over the next few months I can devote more money to the "long term buy and forget about them" stocks such as SUNW, BRCM, EMC, MFNX... but definately have to keep at least half in the trading account... too much fun :)

One day these internets ARE going to burst (meaning they have to be valued in some shape close to "normal" stocks)... and at that point these longer term plays are going to pay off. But until that day happens, best to take advantage of the phenomenon.

Hmm I find it kind of funny, 3 of the 4 contributers on the thread are in their 20s :) I think everyone else who is doing this must be older and can actually QUIT their day job because they have saved up money over the years. *GRIN*
