The one thing that I would correct you on in your assumptions regarding WINR's current revenue is something that I made a mistake on in my previous analysis. The total amount wagered by each of these sites does not represent the total amount deposited at each site which is where WINR gets its revenues from. In theory, GGNC's 5MM in total handle could represent $1 that was originally deposited and wagered over and over again, continually winning. In this case, WINR only gets 4 cents. This is obviously an extreme case, but it does show how we must be careful not to mix total handle with total amount deposited and withdrawn. I would just make a simplifying assumption taking a percentage of total handle, i.e. 30%, 40% or 50%, as the amount that was initially deposited. I have no idea if these numbers are too high or too low, that will only be cleared up when WINR becomes reporting and hopefully details these things.

Swedelo,

An excellent synopsis of the news release. I had to wonder why we had not seen some actual revenue numbers from WINR? So I went back and looked at the news release dates and realized they started operations only 6 weeks ago on 12/14/98. Which tells me that the press release on 1/4/99 with estimated revenues probably had 2 weeks of data to use to come up with what I believe is a very conservative number. What we should see in early February is the first full month of operations. I bet we will also see an estimate of growth from month to month. Plus news of SDT and the lottery etc...I'm afraid he is going to have to put out press releases more often. That would be a shame.

Great post swedelo. Your conclusions are in essential agreement with mine in yesterday's post. Where I wax exuberance, you exude clarity and eloquence. The point about international investing is a new aspect of which I was unaware.

WINR now has a working and proven secure financial transaction software system. Because of the ease of creating web pages in HTML, expanding to other interests should be relatively easy. If the contacts have been made and agreements put in place, we should quickly see rapid expansion of the WINR system.

It is clear from past stock price action that the stock of WINR is being tightly by long term investors.
Awareness of WINR's potential and buying by the public will force control out of the MMs hands with rapid subsequent price appreciation. I would expect that this last press release followed soon by more news will push this stock over the limits required for NASDAQ listing. Listing is key to significant share value growth.

swedelo,

I appreciate your synopsis - as always you have done an excellent analysis of the current situation. We certainly agree as to the more important parts of the most recent press release - here is a copy of a portion of a PM I sent to someone on Fri:

Yes, the PR today was exciting - I really wasn't expecting the news about the lottery or the casual mention of the eventual shopping connection this soon. I don't think a lot of holders realize the significance of these two items and the fact that Skinner was talking in terms of weeks not months!

A couple points about the release and CFG in particular. I do wish someone there would do a better job of proofreading. I counted at least three parts where either words were missing or the sentence structure was anything but smooth. Maybe I'm being a tad picky on this but a press release is often the first thing a new investor sees regarding the company - as the saying goes, you never have a second chance to make a first impression. On a positive note, if CFG can do for WINR what they have accomplished with WCTI, all will be forgiven. For those who are not aware this company's stock began the year at 5 1/2 and is now at 23 1/8. Obviously, this all can not be attributed to CFG but nevertheless, they are the PR firm.

One question regarding the release - why, if they (Atlantic Interbet) are not accepting bets from the USA, do they mention the USA as one of the countries where play has commenced?

Finally, in your revenue projections, are you not assuming that all players on these sites are using the Winner's system? Since they do have the option of other methods of payment, I would be quite surprised if we had 100% of the customers business.

I would like to add a few thoughts i have had related to this press release. If you have a multimillion prize lottery it will take millions of players to support it.My conclusion is,millions of players will have to open a Winners account.Next is the opening of Shopping downtown.com will have a similar effect. Now do you think we may get some % of all this traffic straying into Gaming sites?

Best to all,
Jim
