RE: J.B Oxford.....Analysis of Pick...(Nasdaq: JBOH) Coverage initiated 1/10/99 Per my analysis I thought the depressed price was also a result of restructuring and digressing balance sheets due to this restructuring, or the reasons for this restructuring, of prior 10-Q as per.... Contents of PM regarding Nasdaq: JBOH To: Sxxxxx (who wrote...) From: ztect Sunday, Jan 10 1999 12:37PM ET Look at JBOH's balance sheet that explains share price.. See jboxford.com Decreases revenues, increasing operating costs, losses instead of prior year's earnings. However, on the positive side has been recent change in management, major restructuring to eliminate costs, eliminating under or non performing office locations, and buying back of options and debentures. Also liked that when current CEO got fired, he lost his options. (Harsh but necessary). Reducing options and convertibles reduces further possibility of dilution which is very good. The buy back of the converts was very very reassuring. JBOH really does need to redesign webpage. However, trading isn't as bad as some, but not as good as many. Read the fine print of Ameritrade and you'll know what I mean. JBOH looks decent as a "turn-around" situation in hot sector ie "online trading". JBOH's next 10-Q should be very interesting. Worth taking a position. A lot of growth potential for revenues and earnings due to internet trading. A "cheap E-trade". ======================= ===================== Plus some stats for NEWBIES JBOH current price $2 11/16 (NASDAQ) (as of 1/11/99) # Shares Out. 14.14 Mil Float: 6.6 mm jboxford.com Short Int: 0.0 mm Inst Own: 1.0 % Insider Own: 53.3 % ===================== ztect
