The only impact on Rogers is a positive one. In all likelihood, Rogers had a non-compete with Yahoo in other internet areas that is no longer of issue. As you could see from the press release, Rogers plans to expand its activities. As well, it may help the relationship with At Home. I can't see anything negative as I doubt there were large revenues in running the site anyway.

As far as Bid.com is concerned, there maybe a positive impact as it will allow Rogers to focus more on its core alliances.

This is just my opinion and some might see this as hyping. Who cares!
