I sometimes wonder if they do it on purpose simply to iritate. I have been known to beg a person to say "real estate broker" rather than continue to mispronounce "realtor."

On the subject of facts/fax, does anyone remember during the early proliferation of fax machines the humorous headers that read "Just the fax"?
