Panther Resources CEO Gordon Muir talks to The Wall Street Transcript

NEW YORK (Jan. 25) BUSINESS WIRE -Jan. 25, 1999--The Wall Street
Transcript has published an in-depth interview with CEO Gordon Muir and
President Penny Perfect of Panther Resources, Ltd. (OTC BB:PTHR), in
which they talk at length about their company's future.

Muir states, "Panther's been around for about four years now. We have
acquired a very good property in Mexico that is a producing mine,
primarily silver with copper and gold. The property right now is at a
stage where we're upping the production which currently nets
approximately $1.5 million a year to about $3 million net per year.
We've had several independent reports about the property. Our plans are
to move the property into world class status and that should come
together probably in the next two to three years. So we're quite
excited about the property and where it's going over the next three six
months and the potential over the next three year period. Although it's
only a small producer today, our plans are to increase the production
to approximately 5,000 tons a day, which would put Panther in revenues
exceeding $100 million a year."

Looking forward, Perfect asserts, "I think we're going to increase our
revenue quite rapidly and that will be the most noticeable thing about
Panther in 1999, the dramatic increase in profitability, revenue and
the extent of our asset base. During this year, we'll be able to show
revenue growth on a per share basis and obviously with strong revenues,
that translates into very solid market cap. So I think it's going to be
a very positive change in 1999 for Panther Resources, which will be
kind of unexpected in the mining industry but no surprise to us."
