Colin, NAVR has more potential "UP" then DBCC simply for 1 reason, the float. The "supply" of stock is: NAVR has 6.6M (roughly) float vs DBCC 19M float (i.e. smaller float = greater volatility... a fixed number of shares to go around. Small supply + great demand = big price apprection) For a comparison look at MALL about 2 months ago or so on its run up pre-IPO for UBID ... its float was 4M, so it is a closer comparison to NAVR then DBCC will be. Since you were in DBCC, I will give you one piece of warning. The nice thing I liked about DBCC was the big insitutional ownership which made the run up smooth .. with MALL the MMs jerked us around constantly.. I mean $8 up, $7 down, $14 up, $10 down.. it was crazy. And NAVR will be very similar. NAVR is going to be a daytraders dream at some point pre IPO, and the MMs will take advantage of the swift movements of money in and out ... and some people are going to get panicked and lose money, but if your conservative just buy and hold until maybe a few days pre-IPO when all these bubbles tend to burst. But bring your heartburn medicine if you plan to watch it on a daily basis especially the last week before the IPO date. " but felt all the media attention re CBSMktwatch(and thus CBS connection) was a real factor in the upward volatility." To be blunt the quality of the underlying IPO won't matter much.... as long as its not a total joke company. UBID isnt the greatest company in the world, in fact it probably isnt half the company ONSL is... but it had a small float and was sold into a frenzy and thus did well. MKTW is a nice company but it struggles with revenue and a lot of its services are free on the internet (and even free on their site) so aside from advertising revenue... not much there. In the internet world, the "quality" of the company isn't always the first thing people look at when buying... they look to see whats on most message boards and the "hot" stock in the sector. Once the IPO is announced NAVR will be "in play" and you will be able to do a word search on "NAVR" on SI and trust me you will see it on at least 20 threads. Good luck, Mark
