Christian,
The obvious top tier is CSCO, LU and NT. I don't expect a huge number of players to exist once all of the cards fall. Most of the voice FRAD vendors that are showing up with VoIP products will disappear, though there is a chance that a couple that could get sucked up in an acquisition. I wouldn't look for either CSCO or NT to do anymore acquisitions in this area.

So in the end, if it isn't CSCO, LU or NT, I would be very skeptical of the long term viability of the company.

I don't want to muck up Auric's thread with OT messages, so if you have more questions on this topic, come on over to my very own thread (click on my name and you will see where it is).

Re VoIP:

Take a look at IDTC.
I think they have a chance.
