I haven't followed this thread too much but I have owned the stock for about 18 months. I originally bought it when a friend recommended Amazon for a book I was looking for. I liked their service so much that I added some of their stock to my portfolio, blind luck as they say. I sold all my holdings at the end of Sept last year in anticipation of the October effect. I bought back into AMZN at around $88.
