Re: MSFT buying Yahoo rumor

That is the biggest pile of garbage I've read on this thread

You're buying name and eyeballs, my friend (ala Hotmail), which translates into ad revenue streams. I doubt the buyout will happen, but nothing is surprising in this world any more.

MSFT buyout of YHOO rumor.

That is the biggest pile of garbage I've read on this thread. You actually think
intelligent executives at MSFT consider a company with an office building and a
bunch of PC's worth buying for that price.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Don't shoot the messenger here. I was merely just cut and pasting something I came across in a BusinessWeek. Just thought I would make the board aware of something that a major magazine printed. I think its highly unlikely that such a deal would take place.

When Yahoo drops to $10 ( before the split), then it can be considered a good buy for Microsoft.
Yahoo's inflated price really hurt the company. Yahoo can not compete alone in the market, and eventually it will die out. On the other hand, its inflated price prevent it to be bought out or merged with other companies.
