Don't want to belabor the point on ASTN. I am long since last August at prices ranging from 1-1/2 to 3-1/8. Frankly I don't care where or when Westergaard got in. The Company has been beset with problems since their IPO a couple of years ago-- some of their doing and some because of being in a regulated industry. I feel that those problems are history and that the Company as enough $$ to take it through the point where it will start having earnings. The CEO is one of the founders of Instanet, so is not a neophyte.

I think ASTN is not a true SAM candidate, but close enough. Perhaps this is too risky for you-- my opinion is that the risk/reward heavily favors the buy side with good scalping opportunities ahead as regulatory approvals come forth. I think the stock acton last week suggests this will be sooner rather than later. Regarding the Gomez spin off, I believe the CEO said he hoped to accomplish this late first qtr, early second.
