I accept your statement that book value doesn't drive stock price. But help me understand how a company that listed it's timber assets at under $30 million all of a sudden announces it expects to generate almost $100 million in proceeds (gross,not net,OK) from land holdings. Book value or no book value, that is "CASH" that I as a stockholder didn't have valued before. Even if they squandered half of the sales proceeds on bad business decisions, it would take months or years to see this. In the meantime, it is a dramatic turn of events. NO ?

The book value does not drive a stock price

thats what I have been trying to tell people in the beginning but I kept being called a basher for stating that.
