Long-time lurker here. This is really a quality thread. I've held THQI since June 97 and added at 13 on the dip in September. It strikes me as a very well managed company with great products. However, the recent stock action caused me so much concern that I bailed over the past week. The action on Friday was especially troubling.

Based on the quality observers on this thread, as well as the analysts raising expectations over the past couple months, I doubt we are about to get hit with an earnings warning. My guess, FWIW, is that an announcement is pending that will be in the best interests of the long-term viability of the company, such as a major acquisition, but will hurt the company's short-term prospects.

I'm probably wrong, but I've been investing in small caps enough to see trouble brewing. Yes, I love to say I'm a long-term investor in a quality company. But, when the stock price is dropping precipitously, that really hurts a lot more than taking profits off the table and sitting back and watching.

Good luck all.

great time to buy more stock, we've seen it before, stock usually starts to run up before blowout earnings are announced and then sells off after the earnings....I think stock goes back to $30 before earnings come out.
