As far as I know, there aren't ANY programs written in COBAL. It never gained popularity, like its predecessor language (COBOL) did with its over 80 Billion lines of code and umpteen compiler versions.

I think the transition from COBOL to COBAL would have been smoother if the COBAL designers hadn't been so darned finicky. Requiring programmers to code with a quill pen was just a bit too much, don't you think?
