You are missing the point. Regardless of what the House rules were/or, the Senators agreed upon a method and procedure on how and when to review the witness issue. Hyde, who in my opinion, as a foreigner, has complete disregard and contempt for the Senators. Procedurally, he should have allowed the Senators an opportunity to run their own show...to vote on a motion to do so. The House has had its opportunity. It is flagrant disregard and disrepect for the Senate and how they wished to conduct their business.
