Hello Eski, With this comment of Mr. Mears I have to raise an eyebrow. Perhaps in reading his thoughts in full context it would be better explained, so rather than pass judgment I will have to get the book. Spiritual light according to the gospel is receiving Christ as Saviour and thereby missing out on hell. It is from that very spiritual light that Satan attempts to keep us as though blind and desires to prevent us from seeing or seeking it. Receiving spiritual light and salvation must work hand in hand. You believe the gospel and are saved. What follows depends on the type of soil upon which the Good Seed has landed. Here we either limp along or forge ahead bearing much fruit to our Father's glory. On the surface I have to disagree with his thought as to our salvation not being God's first priority for us. What are your personal thoughts on the subject? This is an interesting viewpoint I wouldn't mind looking more deeply at. John
