Glenn, First unless they've changed recently Costco does not take credit cards. They're
using small margins and don't want to pay the credit card companies any grease, and they
love to tell their customers that.

James,

I was implying that Cosko knows what their customers buy via their membership number not via credit cards. You can't buy without being a member.

Secondly, Bezos's data-base is a niche product. Obviously on-line buyers only. Now
e-commerce business's would love to have that, just like Bezos loved to find out about
me, through Aol.
If e-commerce is the 'Thing'? I think your discounting the value of what Bezos is
building.

There will not be enough online retail e-commerce to make this database worth much. Trust me<G>
