<two posters insist that PSQL may be bought out within the next few weeks...<

John, I don't know of anything in this regard, but, find it highly improbable for the following reasons:

1)You heard it on YAHOO!!! 'nuff said! 99 44/100% of the stuff on YAHOO is HOOEY.

2)PSQL just completed a somewhat dilutive acquisition itself. If the management wanted to sell the company why make another acquisition and dilute the company's value(short term)?

3)Because of the recent acquisition I would think that it would make it very hard for any potential purchaser of PSQL to figure out what a fair value for the company was.

4)Its hard to believe that management would be able to have on-going negotiations on a buyout and complete their own acquisition while keeping the company going... It just seems like to many things at once.

All that said, I do think that there is something cooking at PSQL that may pop in the next few weeks(not just earnings on Feb 4). The price of the stock has seemed to be very strong recently, especially in the face of turbulent times for ERP's.

We'll see...
