<< Does the public want perjury and obstruction of justice to be non-crimes now? >> There are all kinds of levels of crimes. Our legal system is very complex. I think that the public just wants to see justice done. Forget the fancy words. The public thinks that Clinton did wrong. The public questions and doesn't think much of Clinton's character. But, the public thinks that Clinton is doing a good job as President and doesn't think that his violations warrant removal from office. Also, the public thinks that the Republican Party is wrong and does not like their behaviour. I can't blame the public. Look what Bush did when the public voted him out of office in 1992. In December of 1992, President George Bush suddenly and uncharacteristically threw our troops into Somalia. This was done in Bush's last days of office. What were his motivations? No wonder why people don't trust most politicians! << Also, are you saying that in the future, the rule of law should not apply and perjury or obstruction of justice should not be prosecuted. >> I hate to bust your biased bubble, but Clinton is innocent until proven guilty. We will see the real rule of law in the Trial of the Millennium: The Republican Party vs The American People" in 2000. I can't wait to see the Republican Party's new Family "Infidelity" Platform. What are they going to do about Family Values, now that they have given a standing ovation to Livingston, who had multiple affairs on his wife for many years, and now that they have Hyde for their Impeachment Chairman, after he said that a seven year affair of lying and cheating on his wife was a youthful indiscretion! << What are a few lives to make a political statement and positioning oneself as presidential? >> Oh. I don't know. Ask George Bush.
