Betcha if CNN ran another poll as to who they would most trust to cope with the Y2K turnover in Dec31/99 it would be as follows:

70-80% would best think Clinton could be trusted to deal with it
20-30% at best would say Republicans could be trusted to deal with it

We all gain by Clinton staying in power through the Y2K problem because he will motivate, and get the right people to solve the problems. Last thing we want is a continuation of these house managers disrupting things, and heaven forbid Al Gore trying to organize resources to solve the problems. And the Republicans, well they will still be concentrating on the impeachment trial, and won't even know when year 2000 arrives!

Don't worry... I share your feelings.

It is so hypocritical to complain about the Fiat monetary system and then defend the big gov't spenders who take every opportunity to create another immortal federally funded agency.

Btw, do you know what the true definition of Communist is??
