I think, actually, it was just a "hot topic" because it was a new thread.

It's not a new thread any more.

Brady, are you implying that I had something to do with the change in the "hot topic" status? Do you want to back-up your allegation with facts?

Yes, Brady. I wonder if Jon pulled one of his grandfatherly-type SI connections. He, of course, has been an SI member since 1996. Do you think we should ask him if he personally contacted Jill or Brad?

If he did, I guess he doesn't make too good of case for himself since all he's able to elicit is a "click." If only Brad and Jill knew what we've put up with this past year, having to read and put up with his continuous, to no end, Zulu bashing. Yes, we should be removed from the hot list, because JT is anything but "hot." And pretty much, that's all that this thread has to offer this afternoon and, so far, into this evening.

But fret not, at least folks can get relevant information from the thread header.

Brady,

I think that the "Hot Topic" is based upon the percentage of new posts as compared to the total number of posts on a thread. IOW, you would have to keep posting more and more posts per day in order to maintain the same percentage of posts you had the day before as the number of posts total keeps going up each day.

I guess you could say all the "click" posts ran the total number up too high to maintain the percentage. If this thread is nothing else, it can be entertaining at times. LOL!!!
