Bingo.com Announces Definitive Agreement With Stratford Internet Technologies and Mindquake Software to Develop the World's First Free Bingo-based E-mail Community and Destination Site
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 26, 1998--Bingo.com (OTC BB:BIGG - news), a high technology Internet Company, announced today that they have signed a definitive agreement hiring Stratford Internet Technologies and Mindquake Software to develop the first FREE Bingo-based e-mail community.

The total cost to develop the Bingo.com destination site is estimated at U.S. $1.3 Million.

This agreement marks a new milestone for the Company, after purchasing the domain name Bingo.com for an aggregate purchase price of U.S. $1.1 Million. Of this purchase price, $200,000 is payable in cash on or before January 27, 1999, in addition to the issuance of 500,000 common shares of the Company, and an ongoing quarterly payment equal to 4% of the gross revenue of the Company.

With the concept of FREE e-mail, the domain name ''Hotmail.com'' was sold to Microsoft (NASD:MSFT - news) for a price of U.S. $400 Million. and the domain name ''shopping.com'' was purchased by Compaq Computers (NY:CPQ) for U.S. $220 Million. Other destination sites that have recently raised public awareness are ''TheGlobe.com'' (NASD:TGLO - news) and ''Geocities.com'' (NASD:GCTY - news).''
