Your estimate of $0.19 per share may have not been that far off the $.13 announced for the 4th quarter if SanDisk had shipped all booked sales.

Given that inventories dropped from $18 million to $9 million during the quarter ( very significant ) & "1st quarter 1999 should be stronger than 4th quarter 1998"

Put these two together and it would seem obvious, to me, that SanDisk's availability was blown away by demand in the 4th quarter and they are going into the 1st quarter with a substantial backlog.......

Maybe the quarter could have been better but for the long term this scenario is probably best.
