HK stocks seen lower on weak overseas markets
HONG KONG, Jan 25 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks are expected to open weaker on Monday and spend much of the day below last week's close, dragged down by weak overseas markets and currency concerns, brokers said.

''Basically, we expect the market to trade at least 100 to 200 points lower,'' a broker at South China Securities said. ''We may see a rebound later, but it will be only technical.''

The Hang Seng London Reference Index slid 104.37 points or 1.07 percent to close at 9,634.15 on Friday and well below the Hong Kong market's close of 9,738.52.
