<--OT-->Well thanks Paul for that lesson in linguistics, now I know.I believe Yiddish is like Urdu in that the latter is Hindi with Persian,Turkish and Arabic thrown in for good measure,use Arabic scripts to write,one time called Hindustani,spoken now by people of Pakistan and a good number of Indians as well if I am not mistaken.
