You "think?"

Why would that be mooter? Why would it not be in VLNC's best interests to invite sell side? After all it is the sell side that both raises debt and equity capital and promotes buy side purchases.

Your "thought" raises more serious questions than it answers. You also would be best advised to know more and "think" less.
