Air Products to buy stake in Indian firm

BOMBAY, Jan 25 (Reuters) - A unit of Air Products and Chemicals Inc of the United States on Monday agreed to buy 23.36 percent of India's Industrial Oxygen Company Ltd , a statement issued on behalf of both the companies said.

Prodair Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Products, will acquire 2.42 million shares at 375 rupees each from the Indian promoter group, the statement said.
