Auric, look at biotech in early 1992, massive runup until then without much earnings to support it. Then correction (50%) followed by new highs a couple of years later. A good example is long term chart of AMGN. Early '92 was its peak, followed by big correction and new highs a few years later. I think '99 for internets is like '92 for biotechs - the leaders are correcting but will recover over an extended period. On the otherhand the interdreck may never recover
