CanAlaska Negotiating on Lac Rocher Properties News Release - January 22/99 The Management of International CanAlaska Resources Ltd ("CanAlaska") reports that CanAlaska is in negotiation with several parties holding claims and/or currently staking in the region of northwest Quebec near Lac Rocher, where Nuinsco Resources ("Nuinsco") recently reported a discovery some mining analysts consider to possibly be "on par with the discovery hole at Voisey's Bay". CanAlaska is focused on the acquisition of Lac Rocher properties with indications of the same favourable geologic environment being explored by Nuinsco, specifically gabbroic rocks capable of hosting layered mafic-ultramafic intrusions. Further details will be reported as soon as negotiations are successfully concluded.
