I know how you do it.... But don't worry... Your secret's safe with me.
All of this bickering, when actually you should complement each other.
Here, try this on for size:

A man went into the bar, sat down, and ordered a beer. He was the only
one there besides the bartender. He took a sip of beer and ate some
peanuts which were sitting in a bowl on the bar. Suddenly he heard a
voice say to him, "Nice shoes mister." Startled, he looked around to
see who was speaking to him, but no one was there and the bartender was out emptying the trash. Shortly he had some more beer and a couple nuts.
Again a soft voice said, "Nice suit!" The man jumped and looked around, under his seat, everywhere. The bartender was still at the other end of the room. A third time the man gulped some beer and ate a few nuts.
Again a voice said, "Nice shirt!" The man called the bartender over and said, "What's going on here anyway!" I keep hearing this voice telling me how nice my cloths are.
The bartender said, "Oh, the nuts are complementary!"
