Hi Zeev!

Happy New Year to you too. I must agree that it is just a bit quixotic for le patron du cafe de metropole to lead an anti-trust action against the "great ones", but remember Robin Hood and Paula Jones...;-)

And yes indeed, the CB's are on a long term path to demonetize gold, indeed have done so. And as long as things go well for them, it will stay demonetized. So why do they worry so much about it and try to keep it down?

I am not at all bearish about the economy here or world wide for the next decade or so barring a satan ex machina. Everything that could go wrong has been resolutely predicted for years and the economy and stocks continue to "melt up".

Nevertheless some of the rapidly increasing worldwide funds are going back into "stuff" including gold if the new great ones screw up as they almost certainly will do at some point. I am a worry wart despite my optimism, so I continue to think of some gold as insurance.

Dare I ask about the platinum folks in Arizona?

Cheers
