I won't argue the internet is here to stay. I will argue that the amount of e-commerce at retail will be far less than predicted by the firms paid by the e-commerce firms to make the projections. Forrester Research comes to mind as a possibility here.

Amazon has patrons, and acutally does business. If I remeber correctly,
ZITL's big move came on the announcement they recieved a contract worth 100k to fix a
Y2K somewhere.


Amazon's last large move came with the annoucement of them opening another distribution center in Reno, Nevada. The market treated that additional expense as a plus. Go figure!
