I think you should re-read the article. They mention nothing about CBS Marketwatch being interested in @Home, only CBS. CBS Marketwatch is not the same as CBC. There is a big difference.

This might help you out a bit. The article is talking about LYCOS being acquired by some company. LYCOS currently has a market cap of roughly 4.3 Billion dollars. They mention CBS corp (market cap of $24.7 billion) as a possible buyout candidate. It would be highly unlikely that a company like MKTW with a market cap of $945 million would even consider a buyout out LYCOS. It would also be highly unlikely with DBCC owning a percentage of MKTW that CBS would combine LYCOS and MKTW together and just GIVE away huge amounts of market cap to DBCC.

With this scenerio, I just don't see any benefits going to DBCC, sorry.
