Steve,

A quick email to the parties (of the original "problem" email)
stating that the resolution meets your satisfaction and perhaps, even thanking them for giving it their prompt attention, is warranted.
After all, a little praise goes a long way, especially in customer service,
and is a nice gesture. Oh, and the most important part, they will keep up the good work!
