FMK, straying out into that cow pasture again?

<<Valence was reportedly running 5 laptop batteries per minute on line 1 in August.>>

Not according to the CEO who said at the August conference call they were finishing a "major redesign" of Line 1 and it had yet to be run as a unit. He did say the capacity of Line 1 was 5 cells per minute (not batteries).

<<I believe line 1 can run more than 5 per minute by now.>>

What makes you believe Line 1 can currently run more than its capacity as stated by the CEO?

<<The 270 in Northern Ireland are several times what's required for that 1 shift.>>

Who says there are 270 employees in NI? And who says that is several times what's required for one shift? I have never heard the company say any of these things.

<<My bet is the 270 are making batteries and its more than enough to break even. In that case, they are already producing at a profitable rate.>> This is contradicted by (1) the SEC filings, (2) Lev's statement they will be producing commercial volumes in 2 quarters, and (3) the statement by MOT that nobody is producing batteries in commercial quantities.

We've got FMK saying one thing, and the company's SEC filings, CEO, and a potential customer saying another. Maybe this is why Lev referenced your post when he complained about his words being twisted on the internet?
