AM-- Thanks for the reference, just spent several minutes reviewing a selection of his posts.

Wish we didn't have the industry groups here in Colorado trying to get the state legislature to pass a law exempting them from y2k claims, as C.K. posted about a few posts back. It will be interesting to see how that develops.

We seem to be getting a mixed message,

"Don't worry." "You can't sue us."

Also, a friend who has a great little secluded spring fed ranch was recently contacted by his sister who lives in D.C. She has a Phd in economics and has worked at the Dept. of Energy for quite a while. Her husband is a retired Naval officer with Pentagon ties.....they wanted to make arrangements for spending an extended vacation at the guest house on the ranch next New Years. For whatever reasons, they want no part of being in D.C. during that time period.

I'm also hearing from other friends who are starting to be contacted by friends and "acquaintences" about plans for next year. Several of them have barely heard of y2k. They'd heard or knew that I researched it, and contacted me to ask what was going on.

So it goes.
