I haven't seen that we have the sources here to monitor channel inventories. Even the anaysts seem pretty heavily dependent upon the drive companies for this info. But if its so obvious they discover it on their own, you know its really bad. Z

Folks,

Many thanks for the discussion concerning inventory management. Lawrence, some last questions. Do you agree that turns are a relative performance criteria contributing to overall trailing performance? What sources do you recommend for monitoring channel inventory. Do reseller/distribution channels correlate well to OEM channels? Does retail pricing correlate well to OEM pricing? Todd has done some neat work on retail pricing.
