His Pinkness, Thanks for the confirmation. I'm educating myself on option strategies at this point. I'm slogging through O'Neill's book (Options as a Strategic Investment) and I am planning to read Harrison Roth's book on LEAPS. My investments have all been long shares and they've been very good to me. But now I'm interested in SOME short-term strategies to supplement my long-term strategy. It seems pretty risky to use options as your primary investment vehicle, even with a company like Dell. But they might be useful as one prong of your overall plan. -musea
