I consider a lot more than just one indicator. The one I was referring to is definitely is for shifts in stance of a few months duration. But I also look at other more conventional indicators in that time frame and plenty for a shorter time frame. What I'm beginning to see is that where I was getting a bit concerned in December, some of the longer run indicators weren't really showing a top yet. So now I am more relaxed. The indicator I have developed (based on time series analysis) is however, very powerful though it does have too many false positives but few false negatives. Your indicators you mention say the same thing that we are in some kind of consolidation at least for the moment. David
