Gord - you may well be right - but it does seem unconstitutional because it gives entrenched management almost perpetual power - to the disadvantage of shareholders at large. What if the poison pill is exercised (I find myself thinking of ARP) and the bid is withdrawn, and the stock falls right back in price and there are no more bids? Maybe the ARP scheme is different. dd
